In the case of the OP, the Tmax would be worth about 50/50. As for the cost the two parts of the SE tuner are about $850. And even though they just flash a map on, most dealers will stick an uninformed customer with a $300+ dyno pull. Last two Tmax's I purchased were less than $800.
