WebI find it to be more sticky than scratchy. Either way, it's not pleasant to write with. I use one on the daily and second this. I don't find it scratchy but it's more of a stick, I can definitely hear it pulling off of the page when writing fast. If you're here for the writing experience, the space pen isn't for you unless you replace the refill.
